Food was surpisingly good, a lBit too dark and cluttered but all in all good food ans good service

Went there today at 2:20 pm - posted hours show open until 4 pm. Red ‘Open’ sign was flashing but the door was locked..... Called their number from the parking lot - no one answered but someone turned off the ‘Open’ sign. Way to go, Red Mule! An early closing could have been handled with far more class!

This was our first time here and it was Awesome!!! Xavier was super friendly and he took great care of us. Food was amazing...had to ask for a box as soon as I saw how big the sandwiches were!!! Great place and will recommend it to everyone!!!

The Rueben sandwich is out of this world. Try the combo Rueben if you like pastrami and corn beef. This is an iconic place. Even their "cuben" mule sandwich is great. Potato soup: 5 stars and sausage sandwich is marvelous.

The Red Mule is a small Pub., having said that I suggest arriving early to get a table. We had a party of 4 and arriving before noon we acquired a table quickly. The lunch menu looked so good it was hard to make a choice. You can order a full sandwich or if you're not all that hungry or watching your waistline, you can order a half sandwich, which we did. My husband had the Red Mule sub and I had a corned beef on Pumpernickel. Both were delicious! It comes with chips. The corned beef was warm, lean and the bread soft. My husband's sandwich was thick and filling. We will definitely be back!

Came on a recommendation from a friend. Highly recommend both the Cuban and the Reubin. Excellent sandwiches and nice decor.

The food is awesome here, we here at American Gun and Pawn order from here all the time!! The staff is beyond friendly and are always smiling ! The owner goes out of his way to show that he cares about his customers. If you haven’t given them a try you are missing out !! 5 star food all day long!

I eat in this spot a lot since I work nearby. I got to say the service is always excellent and they keep the place well kept regularly. Prices are fair and they serve big portions.

Best sandwiches south of Savannah. Ice cold beer in a comfortable, clean, and inviting setting. We have been coming here since the late 80's.

Potato soup is delicious on a cold/rainy day. Sandwiches are stacked thick with meat and taste great so if you don’t like empty sandwiches, this is the place to be.

Sandwiches are so fresh and delicious! Staff is very friendly. I love seeing all the nostalgia in the pub. A lot of memories from when I was growing up!!

Waitress was fantastic, the owner is there everyday young ensues always smiling personable takes an interest in you and everybody that's inside his restaurant. The food was fantastic more than enough had to take half of my sandwich home. I do recommend that beef and bird sandwich!

Great little place. Energetic young staff will pick you up on a bad day. Great fresh food! Ice cold beer. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu. Plenty to choose from on the menu.

The restaurant is superb and spacious, the menu was delicious and the rates were very affordable. quick, efficient service and very welcoming waiters. Will definitely recommend this place.

Great food. I had the reuben, and my wife had a half ham sandwich, with soup. My only problem is that I feel the prices are a tad high. Service was great.

I’m not familiar with Brooksville and I found myself looking for a place to lunch that wasn’t a chain. Saw that the reviews called it a hole in the wall spot with great reubens and so that was all I needed to know. Ordered the pastrami Reuben on marbled rye. They warm it and it comes as a hot mess with chips, a crispy spear and a twizler. :) delicious! That pastrami warmed tasted amazing and the cheese was just right. Only thing i would ding them for is for being outdated and a bit dingy. But a City girl would say that. I could say it was cozy and homey also. Still, a free standing building with windows and natural light would only help.

Absolutely amazing. Wonderful staff! Xavier was our server, he was very sweet and attentive! The food was absolutely delicious. Never had a roast beef with french dip before, and this pub has me hooked now. My mum got their Reuben, and it was love at first bite. 10/10 recommend and will return!

Love this place. BEST Corned beef sandwich always!! Have been coming here since the early 80s. My friend gets the Reuben and says its the best too. So we were both happy. Good service too

This place easily gets a five star rating from me. The food and service was excellent. The setting reminds me of a small town pub from a small rural town I grew up in. I felt right at home. One of the employees poked fun at me for my Ohio State hoodie but it was all in good nature, and we talked college football a bit. I will definitely be back!

We Use to love this place then 2 weeks in a row i got sick from contaminated meat on my sandwich 1 hour after eating there. Never went back

Had a pastrami Reuben sandwich. One of the best sandwiches I've had in quite a while. Good and friendly service. I will be back.

The sandwiches are outstanding. We really enjoyed looking at the beautiful pictures that have been autographed by famous people. All of the staff was very nice to us. I stopped in to get a pastrami sandwich because I saw them online and they looked great. Unfortunately that day they just happen to be out of pastrami, but me and the staff had a laugh about it and I called the next day and lucky me they had it in stock. It is by far one the best pastrami sandwiches I have ever had. The atmosphere is delightful the staff was cheerful and accommodating. The Chef de cuisine has a great personality and serves incredibly good food. You might expect to find a spot like this in Tampa Miami or New York but not Brooksville. Do yourself a favor pull up to the bar have a pint and a sandwich you won’t regret it.

The food was great. BUT I shouldn't have eaten it. Great stuffed NY style deli sandwiches. No visible precautions. No masks or gloves in the food prep area no masks in the front of the house either. Cummon folks a couple of simple precautions to protect us from whatever you are acquiring from your similarly unmasked customers. It's your choice, not trying to legislate your behavior. Just saying though it's my choice to stay away.

For a quick lunch that is not an every day place and you are in the Brooksville area, then the Red Mule Pub might be the place for you. The service is quick cause you are ordering fast food sandwhiches. If you are a baby boomer the artifact in the building will bring back many memories of your childhood. The menu carries many cold sandwiches such as liverwurst and robins. They are tall and laden with the regular vegetables, along with a drink. This was worth the time and money. Go and enjoy the Red Mule Pub in Brooksville.

My friend and I had lunch. Pastrami for me, roast beef dip for my friend. Very good, tender. But no coleslaw and regular potatoe salad not available. Pretty good portion.VERY dark interior, couldn't see menu. But good.

This place is pretty awesome.. Not very big but big on flavor.. I got the Ruben with heated potato salad topped with cheddar cheese and bacon.. Yummy in my tummy. Also the service was spot on!!

If you're looking for the "perfect" Ruben sandwich, give the Red Mule Pub in Brooksville a try. Get it steamed on regular or marbled rye, and you will see what I mean. Plenty of other great soups & sandwiches as well.

It is a skeleton of the great place it once was when Les was still here. The food used to be phenomenal and the service fast and friendly. Since the passing of Les and the sale of the business, it has become quite the inverse. The food is mediocre, and the staff is too busy chit chatting, sitting at a table creepily staring across the restaurant, or just being rude. This is a sad occasion to have to write this review. RIP Red Mule.

What a place! Was not expecting this eclectic bar and restaurant located in a strip mall. A delightful experience. Try it, you'll like it.
